performing high-tech repairs on gas turbine engine components in Carson
City, Nevada.
Our employees are dedicated and committed to quality. We are currently accepting applications for several INTERNSHIP positions in our Carson City Facility. We also are hiring for the following positions: IMMEDIATE OPENINGS! CNC MACHINE OPERATOR Minimum of 1 year experience in manufacturing or equivalent. Set up and operate mills and grinders. Ability to make offset changes. Math Skills; Proficient in the use of measuring tools. Must pass CNC Machine Operator test. CNC MACHINIST Minimum of 3 years experience in manufacturing. Set up and operate mills and grinders. Ability to read and edit programs. Familiar with the following : CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, CNC Grinders. Math skills and Trigonometry skills. Working knowledge of the material removal process such as: milling, turning, EDM. Proficient in the use of a variety of measuring tools. Understand dimensional tolerances. Must pass CNC Machinist test. TIG WELDER Proficient in TIG welding using argon chamber. Able to certify in nickel and/or cobalt base. Knowledge of welding principles, general shop practices, use of welding materials and hand held measuring tools. Must have performed welding in a manufacturing environment. Must pass applicable vision test. HUMAN RESOURCES ADMINISTRATOR / SECRETARY Experience in recruitment and benefits administration. Candidate must be able to work independently in a fast paced environment. Strong organizational and communication skills required. Must be detail-oriented with Word and Excel experience. METAL WORKER Entry level production position. MACHINE OPERATOR Entry Level / on the job training. ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (CNC/ MACHINE TOOL/ PLC) Candidate will plan, install, integrate, maintain, service and repair various automated equipment built on-site, including, Machine Tools, PLC controlled Casting Furnaces, Robotic systems, X-ray systems, Electro-strip and Plating tanks. Candidate must know how to use DMM's, oscilloscopes, function generators and ammeters. Position requires familiarity with complex installation / repair of electronic equipment, (PLC's, CNC controls, etc.), and maintenance of a wide variety of CNC machining equipment such as Mills, Lathes, Grinders, etc. Must be able to perform basic electrical work with some knowledge of the National Electrical Code and interpret electrical schematics, parts, machine manuals and wiring diagrams. Candidate must be able to follow written, verbal instructions and provide technical assistance to other departments. PROJECT ENGINEER Successful candidate will assist in the development and implementation of new repair procedures, reverse engineering OEM parts, monitor PMA designs and improve existing repair procedures for turbine engine components. Experience in Manufacturing and production processes. Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering required. TRAFFIC SUPERVISOR 5 years experience in Shipping / Receiving / Freight Management. Fast paced, high volume with responsibilities including shipping, packaging, inbound and outbound freight scheduling, inventory control and outside purchasing. Must bring copy of current DMV driver's record to interview!! TOOL DESIGNER Associates degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience. 1 - 3 yrs mechanical design and manufacturing environment. Knowledge of toolmaking, machining and mechanical principles. Cadkey or Auto Cad, and American Drafting Standards required. Microsoft Excel experience desirable. Duties include manufacturing tooling design, vacuum furnace design and drafting/documentation of existing tooling. MAINTENANCE MECHANIC Experience with machine repair, welding, light electrical and some building maintenance. METALLURGICAL ENGINEER Experienced in metallurgical evaluation and quality assurance of superalloy castings, coatings, braze, and weld. Qualified individual will hold a B.S./ M.S. degree in materials science, physics or chemistry or related field with 5 years experience in a metal working industry. Knowledge of superalloys, its castings, high temp. coatings and brazing. SEM/microprobe and failure analysis of aircraft engine components also required. QUALITY ASSURANCE Visual and dimensional inspection, knowledge of micrometers, calipers and height gauges. Must pass vision exam. FABRICATOR Previous experience required. Applicant must be familiar with and able to operate with minimal instructions for the following equipment: metal shear, metal brake press and sheet metal roller. Must also be proficient in the use of all hand tools used in metal working. Applicant must be able to be certified in and have experience in arc, mig and tig welding.
